Connie Kirk performs as Katharine Hepburn in Heaven and Hollywood, Thomas Mason’s award-winning play and selection in the Fertile Ground Festival 2024. Venue: Lakewood Center for the Performing Arts, April 19, 2024 at 7 PM.
Connie Kirk performed in November of 2023 as Katharine Hepburn (in her voice) in a Staged Reading of Thomas Mason’s William Faulkner Literary Award winning play, An Interview with Hepburn. Set in 1944, it is based on a true story about young Sergeant Norman Wiener from Portland, Oregon, who is tasked by the FBI to flesh out Hollywood communists. A spirited Hepburn fights back. Weiner become a prominent lawyer in Oregon and lived into his 90’s.
